Announcing Holy Family Parishes' FIRST Pictorial Directory!

This summer, Holy Family Parish will be creating a pictorial directory, with professional photography sessions available in mid and late summer. Because this will be our first directory as Holy Family Parish, it is a wonderful opportunity for us to better know and recognize one another, and to celebrate the parish family we are becoming. It will also serve as a lasting record of our parish at this important moment as we prepare to build our new church. In recognition of this moment in the life of our parish, we plan to place a copy of the directory in the time capsule of the new church, so that future generations may one day look back and see the families who helped bring this vision to life.

We hope that all of our parish families will take part!

A second round of Photographer Sessions has opened up! The next dates available for scheduling are August 27th, 28th, and 29th.   Please see the links below for a letter from Father on the importance of the directory as well as instructions on how to schedule your appointment online.

Get Ready to Celebrate Our Bicentennial Jubilee!

On January 1, 2026, communities across the Archdiocese of St. Louis Will come together in joy and prayer to officially launch the Bicentennial Jubilee Year. This Jubilee Year marks a significant milestone as we prepare for the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Diocese of St. Louis on July 18, 1826. It is a time to celebrate and honor our rich Catholic heritage, deepen our faith, and recommit ourselves to carrying the light of Christ into the future.  To learn more about the Bicentennial or to submit prayers for the Prayer of the People, please click here: ArchSTL200.org.

We are pleased to share the discovery of a small time capsule behind the cornerstone of St. David Church.

On January 28th, the cornerstone of Saint David Church was carefully removed. Behind the stone, a simple foil-wrapped envelope was found, containing a single typed page. Upon further examination, this page was revealed to be Saint David Parish’s very first bulletin.

The bulletin was typed by Rev. John Ronquest, the first pastor assigned to Saint David Parish, and offers a glimpse into the earliest days of the parish community.

To allow for easier reading, the original bulletin has been retyped and is available through this link.

We invite all parishioners to take a moment to view this special piece of parish history.

Immaculate Conception Church Time Capsule

Before the demolition of the Immaculate Conception Church began, a time capsule was discovered under the cornerstone on August 18th. We are truly blessed that the pastors and parishioners from 130 years ago had the foresight to leave a message for future generations. Inside the capsule were three full newspapers—two printed in German—along with a collection of coins. After the St. Louis Archdiocese Archives Department finished recording and preserving these items, we are finally able to share them with the parish.  Please enjoy exploring these remarkable pieces of our parish’s history.
